  • I was disappointed by the gardens. They were rather untidy even accepting it is autumn. The few statues and bamboo plants tried to create the Japanese feel but did not quite make it happen for me  more »

  • Lovely private family owned gardens. Currently run by the descendants of the original founders, this is a small but manageable garden that visitors can take in at a leisurely pace. I recommend allowing an hour to look around and take photos etc. Nice fish pond and mini waterfalls make for dinner lovely backdrops for photos. Admission in 2017 is £4.50 and they accept 2 4 1 with a Gardeners world pass. Worth a visit.
  • Visit every time we go to cornwall . Great couple of hours in tranquil surroundings. Garden is lovely giving great ideas . There is a shop and advice from experienced people on hand. Well worth a visit
  • Beautiful place with a very fair entry price, tranquil and the perfect spot for my fiance to propose to me. Very helpful staff, family owned business with beautiful hand crafted pieces for sale for the garden.
  • Very beautiful and tranquil garden. The bonsai trees are very well cared for and grown with love. There are some amazing older specimens. The shop is filled with a huge range of Oriental collectables. Wishing we had more money to spend. The staff are so friendly and go the extra mile to make this a brilliant day out. Very highly recommended. Thank you, Julian from Helston and Mandy from Falmouth.
  • What an amazing garden! So tranquil and a perfect hour or so away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Highly recommended and clearly a huge amount of effort and love over many many years has been spent on it.
