  • I visited the bridge whilst staying in nearby Risca. A beautiful clear blue day ensured a fantastic view from the top of the bridge. The climb to the top is a little challenging and it's probably best...  more »
  • An iconic landmark that can be seen from a considerable distance away, and it's fun to cross the river on the gondola. The visitor centre is helpful and has a selection of merchandise.
  • A day before the bridge celebrated yet its 110-jähriges - the day when we arrived, was the first of the winter break unfortunately... worse one can hardly choose a time. Because the structure is so very impressive, we were with the ferries like went over and walked back through the high construction. For this, a very friendly employee on-site has provided us with all interesting. We should come back again...

  • Such an impressive over-engineered structure. Visit on bank holiday when you may be able to walk over the top.
  • Walk up the stairs and over it. Hold on tight. Avoid in wind.
  • Must revisit in April to walk over the top and see it all in operation.
  • OMG IT'S SO BIG
  • Absolutely stunning piece of engineering. Turned up on my motorbike they looked after my helmet, tank bag, and jacket with no hesitation. The volunteers were so knowledgeable and real enthusiasts, able to answer every question. Walked over the top fantastic views, visited the “Engine House” Paul was a delight very chatty. Then the “Gondola” ride back. Will defiantly be doing that again. Thank you so much
