Theme Park Water / Amusement Park
Much about Robin Hill Country Park has been created to cater to its youngest visitors. Gentle outdoor rides, duck ponds, hill slides, and rabbit tunnels offer a contrast to traditional amusement parks. You can take part in a “squirrel safari” to track the endangered red squirrel or visit the butterfly pavilion. You're also welcome visit the falconry and regularly scheduled owl show. The park sits on top of a buried Roman villa and farmstead, which date back to 43 CE. An exhibition barn displays artifacts from the site. • A great day out for the family. Walk in the tree canopy whilst your little ones scurry through the squirrel tubes several storeys above a beautiful woodland floor. The toboggan run is manageable by ages 8+ and younger children can ride with adults. (there is a surcharge of £1.50 per rider as of April 17) As a sister Park to Black Gang Chine they have a multiparty ticket deal that's worth thinking about if you are looking to visit both parks within 7 days. This is about as much adrenaline as you are likely to find on the Isle of Wight! Not much. ;-)
  • We recently went to Electric woods - Spirit of the Orient at Robin Hill and had an amazing family evening. Staff were extremely helpful and happy to help. A magnificent light show throughout the park with shows and lots of added extras to make it even more magical. The Frequent visitor pass makes it even more reasonable as offers the special evenings throughout the year as part of the ticket as well as unlimited daytime entry throughout the season.
  • Came here 3 years ago and there was more to offer. Paid £50+ for a family to get in only to find extra charges once you get in and some attractions closed. Our local park has much the same to offer for free.
  • Brilliant place for just losing yourself in - loads of things for children of all ages too (slides, playgrounds, rides, etc). Season ticket is well worth it if you plan on visiting more than a couple of times.
  • This is a decent enough place with plenty to do for whole day with kids but it is over-priced for a place without any proper rides. There are several adventure play grounds but they get a bit samey after a while. The major ride is one of those boats that swings back and forth, named Colossos which is somewhat over-stated for something that would be the tamest ride at a theme park. Another highlight would be the tobbogan if it weren't that they have the nerve to charge £1.50 a ride on top of the entry fee.
