  • Visited the July course on 'June Summer Saturday'. Fabulous weather, not too crowded and racing fun as always. Best to know that there are two racecourses in Newmarket - the Rowley Mile is Autumn and ...  more »

  • Visited Rowley Mile for Venture Fest East event #VFeast16 Superb venue with efficient and helpful staff - a delight
  • Been there quite a few times, loved it every time. Love having a picnic in the family enclosure, great entertainment going on for the kids, mostly free. Been up in the posh restaurants and that is quality to. I really can't give you a negative except the horses don't seem to win when I back them! Bit too busy for me at the 1,000 and 2,000 guineas meeting but then again that adds to the electric atmosphere. Haven't been to the summer nights meetings but they look great, racing followed by popular live bands at excellent prices. If you don't bet it's not expensive at all, if you do bet and win it could actually be a profit making trip!
  • If you are a racegoer Newmarket is a racing town. There is accommodation and friendly likeminded people in the pubs there. Meet racing people, strappers, trackriders. The amazing training tracks start right in the town. If you are going on a horse racing tour like we did make Newmarket your base.
  • Great fun and a great day out. You don't even have to bet on a horse but you probably will. Defo head over on the weekend.
  • Fun night out
