  • We visited the Newlyn Art Gallery today and were not impressed. We expected there to be some art to look at. We did not understand what 'The exhibition' was about. Dissapointed.  more »
  • Upon entering the gallery, and paying for the privilege we went upstairs and had tea and cake with our two boys. We then tried to access the exhibition we had paid for. As we went in a curator told us...  more »

  • We live nearby and frequently go. They change the art frequently so there is lots of variety. It has a good cafe with amazing views through the glass wall. The gift shop has an amazing selection of items to pique your interest. It is small so doesn't take very long which suits us as we have young children.
  • We live nearby so go here quite often. They change the content frequently so there is always something new to see and its very child friendly. It has a wonderful cafe with a glass wall overlooking the bay. It's almost worth going just to browse through the gift shop! It has an eclectic selection that you don't see else where and is certain to have something to pique interest.
  • Really enjoyed the recent exhibition by Imran Qureshi, despite criticism in the comments book! I found it both thought provoking and enjoyable to view. The gallery itself is small but we'll designed. The cafe served great cakes and coffee and the shop has some very interesting items to look at.
  • Bit pricy in my opinion for the exhibition that I saw. Lovely cafe, which you do not need to pay to go into. (This is not clear at the gallery)
  • Good WiFi and Café with view. Terrible art.
