  • Spent a lovely day out here with 2 young kids and a baby. Cost just over £30 to gain entry to the little museum, gardens and play area which seemed expensive to us for what it was. Good offering thoug...  read more »

  • Not just for kids, great for adults too! I spent a lot of time in the planet earth museum and there's a hell of a lot to see if you are interested in this kind of thing. They have added a lot since I was last here 3 years ago so it's good to see it being maintained and improved. The indoor plant house and the heritage trail were also great, but if you haven't got any children with you, you might want to avoid the play areas! Being the first day of half term, there were quite a lot of children there. We had a nice lunch in the coffee shop, great to see they now serve proper barista coffee and the new decked outside eating space is lovely! We won't wait 3 years to return again this time.
  • Nice place but it is very busy when kids are off school best time is when they are at school that is if you want it to be quieter café can very busy que can get long. time in que not bad.
  • A bit decrepit, but strangely charming. Good value membership makes it a cheap place to take kids
  • A fascinating insight into evolution - amazing fossil collection and rather cool botanic garden hidden away. And, the little train is a must for all ages to see the park. Rounded off with a great coffee and freshly baked cake. What more could one ask? Fab!
  • Good value annual membership. Daughter likes the museum area & dinosaurs. Soft play area good. Arcade machines could be better but OK for younger children to win tickets etc.
