  • We enjoyed a two night break in late September. I cannot fault the hotel in any way. The staff were welcoming, friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, well-equipped and extremel...  read more »
  • Great service from staff at reception, the bar and Percy French. Enjoy treatments at the spa but couples are separated in the spa. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean, would upgrade if I stayed again...  read more »

  • Wonderful two days here for my wife's 30th. Great hotel. One or two minor niggles were sorted quickly and efficiently (moved room within 15 mins of highlighting an issue) One thing: the check out process could be smoother. Everyone leaving at same time leads to queues. They should try and have more stations for workers to process the checkout quicker and/or stagger checkout times. Dinner in the restaurant was top drawer. We both had steak and the service was second to none. Keep it up!
  • BETTER THAN THE RITZ, LONDON Afternoon tea at the Slieve Donard is far better than afternoon tea in the Ritz, London. Beats the Ritz on quality, atmosphere, service and price. On Saturday 11 June 2016 we had afternoon tea sitting at a table overlooking the sea, listening to a very accomplished harpist and eating a wonderful variety of freshly made sandwiches, cakes and scones. The staff were very friendly and courteous. This was a lovely, leisurely experience and we will be going back there soon again.
  • A truly beautiful setting, attentive staff and close to local ameneties. Breakfast is fantastic and ine of the most comfortable beds Ive slept in. we stayed here as part of a wedding party, this was a fantastic venue for it. we also used the very relaxing spa facilities, a must if you come to stay here!
  • We had a weekend here.. Lovely and relaxing.. Lovely sea view room, gorgeous spa and dining facilities.. Great experience.. 😁
  • Visited the lighthouse bar for afternoon lunch. Lovely room with nice views of the beach if you're lucky enough to get a window seat. Staff are friendly and tentative. However I would say it is expensive, we had 2 sandwiches and 2 glass of wine and although both were nice I don't think they were worth the £33 bill.
