  • Fabulous night at the Garden Party. Well worth the money. The BBQ was scrumptious & we were offered seconds but we're too stuffed! Setting was lovely & the patio heaters a bonus. The band were fab as ...  more »
  • We called on the spur of the moment for cream tea which was beautiful plenty of sandwiches and excellent value for money. Will definitely be calling again on our next visit to Northumberland.  more »

  • Go every time I’m up home visiting parents. Good coffee and breakfast. Usually get the poached eggs and salmon on brown bread. For the two of us it comes in around £16. Always busy for lunch, recommend booking. Also, they’re catering more towards weddings nowadays so call before hand to see if they’re open to general public. Accessibility is good with paving slabs leading up to the main building, not sure about the toilet.
  • Excellent quick lunch. Nice sandwiches. A bit expensive but you get enormous portions. Good facilities for groups. Seems to always be busy so book if you want to be in the main building, even for midweek lunches.
  • Went here for a baby shower and had afternoon tea. Setting is lovely however I wasn't that impressed with the food. I don't want to say it was as bad as bland but it was getting there. Staff were nice though. Also had to pass around one jug of milk between 25 people for cups of tea and I think two flasks of tea so wasn't the easiest in a small room.
  • Have visited here often and always had good service and nice food. I took my 4 year old Granddaughter here for their children's afternoon tea which was very nice. The price of £4.50 for the children afternoon tea was good value too. This place can get very busy, so for a special occasion I would advise booking in advance.
  • Not used it personally for a wedding, but food and service is great
