  • We were there as wedding guests on Easter Monday this year. The rain and snow poured down all day but that did not dampen our spirits at all. The staff that looked after us were just amazing, they had thought of everything. I was very impressed that they even remembered, and called us by our first name. They were very professional yet warm and friendly. The food was amazing. A thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. Somewhere I would highly recommend.
  • visited today for the first time in a while, and was a little disappointed. The food is lovely and staff very friendly and helpful, but you cannot just get a coffee and a scone or cake now, its mostly meals or afternoon tea (which looked lovely) there wasn't a great deal of choice of sandwiches and I chose the chicken and ham club sandwich, but it consisted of 3 slices of bread which is far too much bread, the chicken and ham was lovely, but I think they should make smaller sandwiches and charge less. Its a shame that you cannot just pop in for coffee and cake, like a lot of people were thinking today, as they turned away at least 20 people in the time we were there.
  • Attended family function here recently. Food great. Staff friendly & attentive. You can get meals, high tea or just pop in for a coffee.
  • Go every time I’m up home visiting parents. Good coffee and breakfast. Usually get the poached eggs and salmon on brown bread. For the two of us it comes in around £16. Always busy for lunch, recommend booking. Also, they’re catering more towards weddings nowadays so call before hand to see if they’re open to general public. Accessibility is good with paving slabs leading up to the main building, not sure about the toilet.
  • Absolutely fantastic, for wedding venue and food fantastic, followed by service and customer service were fantastic !!!! Thank you all so much, hopefully my daughter's wedding, only thing that is putting a doubt on it for her was the decoration of the finer points as in table decorations and bunting, swags for tables would be an advantage, but I love the place so much hopefully they go for this venue I love this place xxx
