  • Always call in and light a candle. The carvings are amazing and this place is well worth a visit. Had a snack in the cafe and the food was cheap but excellent. Toasties and jackets and lovely scones.
  • I was there with a group providing a choir for services over a weekend. All the staff and volunteers we met were very friendly and helpful. The cathedral was warm - which is most unusual!
  • Very very beautiful Cathedral. I advise everyone to visit simply did not want to go away, although it was not the first cathedral, which we visited and home and festive at the same time. Occurred as talented humanity that can create such works (lace wood and stone) and of course the beautiful stained-glass Windows as everywhere in England.

  • Beautiful architecture and has helpful and informative displays all around the church so you can do your own self guided tour of the different statues.
  • What a gem! A real haven of peace and history.
  • Place full of history, well worth a visit
  • Finally a Catholic church most in England are Anglican or Protestant. I am Catholic so the others can go to hell.
  • Pleasant enough, but not especially stunning. With s few minutes explore.
