  • Great to see the animals and have a wander round jesmond dene. I miss the chipmunks. More farm animals now but still worth it. All paved and easy to walk.  more »

  • Small but free so brilliant. Jesmond dene is a nice peaceful place so this little animal area just adds to the dene. Well worth a 10 mins look.
  • We can spend ages in here just looking around the animals, whatever the weather, there is a coffee shop and a gift shop directly opposite and a lovely park for the little ones. Also next to a large grassy area, perfect for picnics on a nice day.
  • Been coming here for years. Nice little place for the kids to get up close with the animals. Not a huge range of animals but enough to warrant a visit.
  • Great free attraction to take the kids to, situated in the gorgeous Jesmond Dene. Also the new cafĂ© & visitor's centre make it even more worth while going!
  • A fantastic park with some beautiful animals with a gorgeous river setting and tree lined paths.
