Lane7, Newcastle upon Tyne

Categories: Fun & Games
Inspirock Rating:
3.4/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web
Lane7 have chosen Newcastle upon Tyne to launch their boutique bowling alley. For those who aren’t aware of the concept then forget Formica tables, mass produced moulded seats, plastic hot dogs and blue slush puppies - think of the best bar you’ve ever been to. And then add ten pin bowling. Pool. A bit of ping pong. And a karaoke booth (to keep those more into the Arts than Sports happy)!

  • Great place for bowling pool ping pong and more. Food and drink good too. Best mid week as gets a bit pricey at weekends
  • Great food, good beers, and plenty of entertainment. As well as bowling, also offers American pool, table tennis, and a racetrack for radio controlled cars. Lovely bowling shoes as well.
  • Nice and friendly staff, good atmosphere. Pay per game and the diner does great burgers.
  • Had such a laugh when visiting recently. Booked a ping pong table and had food. The food was good but I felt it was on the expensive side. However the choice of beers and cocktails made up for it.
  • Lots of fun and a foodie feast. Good menu for gluten freers, and chefs will go out of their way to accommodate other allergies.
