  • Great for a relaxing stroll, a run along the river, exploring historical sites (see if you can find the oldest church in Newcastle) or having a picnic with friends. Come on a Saturday and there's a market on the bridge. There's a pets corner for the kids and a cafe for the adults. I think one of the greatest places to go to in Newcastle
  • Great place for walking cycling coffee and getting out in the open air...feels like you are in the countryside not centre of a city. Just wish we had better weather! ..picnics are a rare event.
  • We only visited this to meet up with family. The children small children enjoyed the play space near the pets corner. Sadly this was closed, but the goats we could see through the railings we healthy, lively and clean. This deserves a fuller daytime visit with the grandchildren. Only three stars because I didn't have time to explore the rest of the park.
  • Children had a great time playing in the park and visiting animal corner. Good facilities and small cafe to visit. Also saw the outdoor theatre production of Billionaire boy there. Made a great afternoon.
  • Great park to wander round, very green, animals look well kept and clean. Kept nice and tidy, good to escape from the city.
