  • All the shops you would expect in a city centre location. Well placed for all local amenities. Clean and modern as would be expected
  • Is a central commercial very full that surrounds the center of the city. Account with most stores you expect and which are not inside them are just outside.

  • i thoroughly enjoyed my visit to newcastle as a first time traveller the people in newcastle couldnt do enough for me were so helpful from the staff at the airport metro to other travellers on the bus...  read more »
  • Vast, sprawling shopping mall in Newcastle City Centre - basically a central version of the Metrocentre run by the same company. Can be a bit daunting on a Saturday as it's usually heaving and it's a bit spread out. Recommended if combining it with a trip to the wider city centre and tourist attractions (and whatever you do take public transport - parking in Newcastle is both difficult and extremely expensive). If you just want shopping that you can drive to then the Metrocentre is a better bet.
  • Great selection of shops and restaurants. Feels like it takes up half the city centre! Good place for a look break before getting the bus.
  • The central shopping mall of Newcastle. Recently refurbished with more work planned. More upmarket shop than in the past, making it a serious competitor the bigger metrocentre which is further out from the city centre. Bargain shops still to be found, and right next to the high street. Many nice eating options in and around the city centre. Rosso Pomodoro in John Lewis is possible one of the best pizzas in Newcastle.
  • Easy to get around and the stores are bright free Wi-Fi available too
  • Some sections of Elton Square are great. Modern and plenty of shops. Other parts are dreadful. Empty spaces and have finished building work.
