  • Very spacious closed in and Victorian foofed building. Stalls are Victorian shop outlet units . Traditional Butchers, Fish Mongers and Fruit and Veg sellers. Traditional Market Families. Great atmosphere within the City of Newcastle and Grainger Market Square (outdoor).
  • Something for everyone. Hot food takeaways or eat in. Bakery, Fruit and Veg. Fresh Butcher stalls and Fishmonger's too. Baby clothes and adult. Also an Optitians. There is also a Pet Shop and Shoes Shop. Much more besides. It never rains in Grainger Mkt.
  • The Grainger market is a great place to visit. It is indoors and is full of unusual stalls. Great food selection and lots of places for coffee or lunch.
  • In a world of homogenised high streets and city centres this place really sets Newcastle apart. All you shopping needs under one roof. Money spent in Newcastle that's more likely to stay here. Great meats, fish vegetables. Shops like Mmm and Glug to stock the cupboards. And a great pizza shop!
  • A Toon Institution - history, friendly service, gorgeous building, delicious food to eat, great produce. Perfect for your weekly shop, interesting for tourists and visitors, great markets on Saturdays for gifts.
