My 4 year old has been a massive fan of the old jungle jack in eldon leisure, so, he was equally excited when we mentioned the new jungle jack. However, the new site doesn't appeal to him anymore. Wis...  more »

Good soft play. Spacious and secure. Extremely hot though. The sitcom seemed to be blowing out warm air!  more »

We took the children to Vertigo for the first time this weekend. It was nice and quiet when we were there. The staff were really nice, friendly and attentive. When my youngest didn't want to do Vertig...  more »

  • I phoned last week about 8 times in a row and there was no answer. A couple of days ago it took 5 attempts to get through and there were no courts available. Today I've called 5 times and still no one answers the phone. I wonder how much money the business is losing from lost bookings because no one answers the phone. I'd like to make a booking and go in and I keep trying but I can never get through
  • Poor service. We went there for Vertical Adventure Climbing on a Sunday afternoon. They insisted on charging us 12 ppp even though we did bring the NUS cards with us. The receptionists messed the prices and had an altitude towards customers' questions. And the manager just gave a very irresponsible explanation that the discounted price was not for peak time, which is absolutely wrong because it contradicts with what they say on their website. The only reason for her to come out her office is to cover the receptionist. 4 pound is not a big deal, however, such experience makes customers disgusted.
  • I went there to play badminton and the place has everything you need!
  • Not the cheapest in Town but certainly has a comprehensive array of equipment. Showers seem to break for 2 weeks of the year, but apart from that very good!
  • You can join for a week and its only £15 as an introductory price, then its either DD or monthly and all options (to me) are reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful and the kit is good. The classes are varied and there are several each day. I really enjoyed spin and the circuits but there are so many other options. The kit in the main gym is good, theres a boxing bag, kettle bells, workout mats and so on plus there are watt bikes (I do love a watt bike). For anyone wanting a decent gym in the city centre I'd definitely recommend this one or if you're visiting and would like a more short term option (as many don't seem to offer that!).
