  • Great little rainforest, but not enough space when several school trips are in. We fell foul of a less than courteous tour guide too  more »
  • We have visited this location a bit disappointed given the advertising it gives only about an hour max to spend here not a lot to do  more »
  • A good and educational visit for the kids, especially for little boys interested in reptiles and bugs! Very hot and humid inside, wear a t-shirt :) It has a coffee shop, picnic area outside and a play...  more »

  • A great gem in the middle of nowhere! A small little rainforest, with great selection of animals and birds. Lovely shop and tiny cafe. Cafe had the bare minimum items, still had a children's lunch bag and nice hot dogs. The layout/path is very crowded, especially if you are walking around with a buggy! But was a great day out. And the tickets are valid for a year!
  • Interesting experience, but has changed a lot. There is now a big and mostly empty wooden classroom construction; but the rainforest sheds have not been expanded. sadly there was no sign of the giant floating lotus leaves, nor any flowering plants - except one by the entrance - it was packed with them when I last came about 6 years ago. Likewise where have the butterflies gone? Not a single one, nor any sign of a chrysalis shed either. This is where I photographed my first butterfly and it was the reason I went back. It seems to have regressed somewhat. Commercialism possibly.
  • Perfect for a toddler - just enough to occupy them for a couple of hours. Love the fact the ticket lasts for a year.
  • Brilliant fun for kids and adults alike. Really friendly staff too
  • OK. Great morning. Reasonably priced. But I reckon most people will be done in 1.5 to 2.5hrs. However I am fairly local and get a free return to use within one year so the price of admission is fine. On entering just before you pay for admission there are some educational quizzes, for various ages, that you can pick up to take around the exhibit with you. Well worth it. The exhibits are quite good. There is wildlife that roams free. We saw a lizard just sitting there on a branch at head height. There is a Sloth roaming about. Lots of ground birds just waking across the path in front of you. The cafe is OK. Not full on meals but OK for snacks and a coffee while the kids play in the park. Overall it's good way to spend 2 or 3 hours.
