We went to the living rainforest on one of our days off on a Wednesday. We both work in a pub so never really have weekends off. When we arrived we saw two school coaches outside, my immediate thought... read more »
This place is looking tatty and like it needs a good refresh. Not much to see overall in the small rainforest area and nothing at all in the big hall area next door. A totally wasted space. Total trip... read more »

Quaint place with lots of live animals and birds roaming the amazing rainforest. Nicely educational, good outdoor place space, picnic area, cafe, well stocked shop and hands-on learning zone
A really fun morning out with a toddler. It was well arranged so little ones could run along the paths and see the exhibits but not climb into them. There was a lovely selection of animals and plants - my little one was especially excited by the little monkeys and exotic ducks. You get a year long pass and I think we're likely to be back on the next rainy weekend. For older children it might be a rather quick visit, but for a toddler it was fantastic.
We had a great morning showing our two young children around this small but interesting attraction. A nice coffee shop and play park. The admission price gets you a years worth of free entry so we'll definitely be going back again a few times.
A lovely trip out for my toddler. A proper jungle experience - puddles and mud on the floor, dripping humidity from the ceiling and plants, animals scurrying around. He loves it! Bring your wellies! The staff are always lovely and last time let him feed the turtles. The entrance fee includes a year pass, so great value if you are fairly local, but probably seems a lot if you are coming for a one off.
It's ok. First time visit today and not the greatest, too many school kids all at once!, very overwhelming! and the site is very SMALL it didn't meet expectations. The selection of animals were very limited. The best thing was the heat inside. Overall 4/10
