  • Came here with young children and paid £45 for a family of 5 (ages 6, 4 and 2). Complete waste of money. Place essentially consists of a greenhouse with some overgrown and not particularly well mainta...  more »

  • A rainy day in November the place was packed with young families and oldies! It has developed from an orchid nursery and has grown organically into the Living Rainforest. Some good exhibits and some a...  more »

  • OK. Great morning. Reasonably priced. But I reckon most people will be done in 1.5 to 2.5hrs. However I am fairly local and get a free return to use within one year so the price of admission is fine. On entering just before you pay for admission there are some educational quizzes, for various ages, that you can pick up to take around the exhibit with you. Well worth it. The exhibits are quite good. There is wildlife that roams free. We saw a lizard just sitting there on a branch at head height. There is a Sloth roaming about. Lots of ground birds just waking across the path in front of you. The cafe is OK. Not full on meals but OK for snacks and a coffee while the kids play in the park. Overall it's good way to spend 2 or 3 hours.
  • A really fun morning out with a toddler. It was well arranged so little ones could run along the paths and see the exhibits but not climb into them. There was a lovely selection of animals and plants - my little one was especially excited by the little monkeys and exotic ducks. You get a year long pass and I think we're likely to be back on the next rainy weekend. For older children it might be a rather quick visit, but for a toddler it was fantastic.
  • I recently visited The Living rain Forest, it is nothing like it portrays. I felt it was run down not a lot to see, in fact it was all of 10 minutes if that and you had seen all there was to see. very disappointing.
  • We had a great morning showing our two young children around this small but interesting attraction. A nice coffee shop and play park. The admission price gets you a years worth of free entry so we'll definitely be going back again a few times.
  • Quaint place with lots of live animals and birds roaming the amazing rainforest. Nicely educational, good outdoor place space, picnic area, cafe, well stocked shop and hands-on learning zone
