  • A nice display of aircraft and Bomber Command equipment in an RAF ambience and with helpful staff. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
  • It is little known that one of the Vulcan bombers is housed here. It is a small air museum but worth visiting.
  • For it's size Newark Air Museum has the best collection of aircraft iv'e seen with outdoor and indoor exhibits, add a cosy cafe and fabulous shop and you have the ingredients for a good half day out an...  more »
  • You can go in the Vulcan here. Amazing planes to go arround. Costs about £10 + 50p for each plain you go in. Well worth it however. Great fun for the whole family.
  • Lots of airplanes outside and several warehouses with planes helicopters engines from really old to newer. Nice grounds. Very friendly staff.
  • Signs from A1 south bound could be much improved. Site a first class experience, a lot of grassey areas. Cafe expensive, take you own food. there are picnic tables around the very large site. Overall a great day out.
  • Its good. It has various aircraft and the staff are very kind but the only downfall is the items they sell are overpriced
  • Great day out! Spent a good 4 hours there. Weather wasn't the best, but even my unenthusiastic girl friend enjoyed it. Lots of interesting and unusual air craft, from Vulcan to Victor trainer, Dam Busters bomb and Saunders Roe helicopter. Lots more to see, lots of information to read, and lots of air craft to see.
