  • We visited the museum for the 1940s weekend event and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lots of exhibits and aircraft to see and read about. Many of the ones outside are huuuuuge.  more »

  • Took grand children. Really enjoyed the day out with very informative and friendly staff. Was there four hours, should have gone earlier to see all aircraft. Very nice coffee.
  • A great place with plenty of historic aircraft to see and a Shackleton to get onboard when open. The souvenir shop has a good stock of plane memorabilia and the cafe is good. The indoor museums have plenty of different types of aircraft to see. You'll need a good few hours to spare!
  • What a brilliant museum one of the best I have been to nice prelude to scampton airshow friendly staff well put together exhibitions found some aircraft I didn't know about.
  • You can walk around the planes, no fancy museum where the planes are cropped together hanging from the ceiling. Some of them are even displayed on the tarmac. I know it's hard tho keep them conservated that way (tear and wear are showing) but the experience is so much better. Cosy little canteen, very affordable
  • Quite a drive from where I live but worth it.. Much to see in there and very interesting place.
