  • Amazing place to visit right on the river Mersey. Great for kids to play and free, it's a short walk from New Brighton and plenty of things to occupy the kids for a few hours. The place is a replica pirate ship with sand and water surrounding it. Best to visit in the summer time and is not very good in the winter months.
  • This place is simply brilliant. The people that built this are amazing. Worth a visit on a walk if you have kids or even if you don't.
  • I have a soft spot for this place because of the effort that was made to build the ship
  • My 2 year old loved it. Great recycled wood ship play area. Loved the treasure chest with toys for the kids to play with.
  • An excellent interactive art installation created by a local artist and maintained by local community volunteers. Children and adults alike flock to this site for pictures and play. The majority of the surrounding beaches are clean and safe and are enjoyed by many all year round, however adult supervision of youngsters is strongly recommended due to changing tides and nearby areas of mud flats.
