Mumbles Pier Reviews
Our first visit to the area whilst visiting Wales. Sadly the pier was closed, so no access to the lifeboat station. This was annoying & upsetting for the excited 3 year old. There was no mention of it... more »

I am a regular visitor to the pier and I think it is a great place for all ages. The food and drinks are of a high quality and reasonably priced, and being able to redeem parking charges (up to 2 hour... more »
Beautiful views across the whole of the coastline and beyond. The pier is under repair at the moment but still accessible and the lifeboat station is at the end of the pier. The Mumbles Lifeboat is well worth a visit with lots of information and a gift shop. We was fortunate enough to see the vessel return and watched it being winched back into the station. Very impressive to see! Wheelchairs can access most areas and there is a couple of places to eat and drink along with the usual gift shop and amusement arcade.
This used to be a great tourist place to visit to see the sites if beautiful Mumbles, however the current owners are guilty of letting the pier become a run down shell where only half the pier can be washed on safely (literally half the floor is broken and rotten!!). The arcade is okay, there is a nice new fish and chip restaurant there as well as a decent cafe. Parking could be an issue during busy periods, but it's a shame the historical pier had been allowed to deteriorate. Recommended visit: the RNLI lifeboat house at the end of the pier with a store - buy and contribute towards an essential life-saving service.
Definitely worth a visit. Nice walk along the promenade to reach it. There appears to be a land train in high season. Original Victorian life boat station makes for great pictures.
One of our favourite places. Good food and service. Homemade fresh food. On a nice day when the tide in fantastic view over Swansea Bay.
Great place with so much to offer.. beaches, pubs, resteraunts arcades, crazy golf and so much more.. something for everyone and some.. amazing views with super walks around the cliffs... a must visit...
