  • Trying to keep fit and do some walking so Strathclyde Park is a great option to do this. It is 5kms walk which most of it is flat. Enjoy it especially if it's dry weather.

  • I walked all around the loch - about 3.5 miles. Perfect at the end of a day's work. Much of it easily accessible for wheelchairs with car parks dotted all around. Other walks into the woodlands and pl...  read more »
  • Brilliant facility with plenty of walking routes. Take the time to check out the historic sites - Roman bathhouse etc. Nice flat routes for joggers / walkers to enjoy with surfaces around the loch offering a good running experience. This venue has hosted several world-class events such as the Commonwealth Games.
  • Nice park. Lots to do and see. Great for walking running driving. Wildlife and rowing lake. Good little golf course and driving range too.
  • Really enjoyed our stay at this park last weekend. Friendly reception staff, well run park. Warm and exceptionally clean showers/toilet block. Milk, rolls and papers sold at reception. Walked down to the loch which was less than 10min walk on Sunday morning before leaving and cycled along the loch to Hamilton the day before. Will definitely go back.
  • It seemed nice. I never really had a good look around. I probably shouldn't be reviewing this place eh?
  • Great space for dog walkers, runners and cyclists with miles of paths around the lake to use. Hosts a number of annual rowing regattas in the summer which are great to go along and watch, with exciting racing on the water. Fees for water usage can be quite expensive for rowing clubs wishing to train here.
