  • Fantastic amount of second hand books! You could spend hours here browsing. Organised just as a book shop should be with books crammed into every possible place. A terrific experience.
  • Amazing bookshop, so many books crammed into this place, really helpful man who owns and runs it, If they do not have the books you want not many others will. Really good prices.
  • I was so looking forward to visiting this place after all the five star reviews, but was very disappointed to find all the books very overpriced. I was a little shocked at average, spine-creased and y...  read more »
  • Honestly my favourite second hand book store. The shop feels like it goes back for ages, and the smell of the books is amazing. There are old hidden treasures everywhere. The place is so packed that there are even planks between sets of shelves, forming more shelves between existing sets! The books are organised roughly Knuth sections, and though having more order would be an improvement, part of the joy of this bookshop is browsing. The atmosphere is unbeatable. The owner is friendly and helpful.
  • This place is amazing. Tons of books, every possible sort. A little messy, but it's this place's charm. Owner is a very kind man, always has time to help. I will definitely come back there.
  • By far (and by a long way) the best second hand book shop I've ever visited. Not pretentious, not off-putting, not 'elitist' in any way, it's a wonderful cavern of books. And you will come away with treasures...
  • Well copious amounts of books set in a maze of a shop that is individual not a faceless chainstore. Big plus is the owners love of books and superb knowledge of his stock and where it is. Just the best.
  • I went looking for some books by a lesser known artist and hoped for maybe 1 or 2 of his books in the shop. But the place was significantly bigger than expected and I found lots of books - coming away with over 15 books! Although not in a strict order, the books are loosely grouped in some sections. This is a book shop to lose hours in if you don't have a strict list of things you want - and if you're like me - enjoy every minute of it. I'll be coming back rest assured, but next time I'll have more time to spend in there! Great way to spend your afternoon & find that book you've been unable to for years!
