Silver Sands of Morar, Morar

(4.7/5 based on 170+ reviews on the web)
Take a relaxing stroll along the white sands of Silver Sands of Morar. This wide shoreline features soft, pristine sand and crystal clear waters in a paradise-like combination. While shallow enough for kids to safely swim, the water can be rather cold--consequently, more walkers than swimmers frequent the beach. Also look for views out to the islands off the coast, and explore the seafood restaurants nearby that offer fresh catches of the day. • If someone blindfolded you and dropped you at that beach on a nice hotel sunny day,you would think you were on a tropical beach somewhere else..best beach in scotland for me..
  • Lovely walk. We were very lucky with the weather in October. Scenery is amazing. Parking can be tricky but worth the effort.
  • Had a lovely walk in beautiful surroundings. Tide goes well out so you may have to watch but we manage a good walk
