  • This is my favourite local area. Beautiful long stretch of sandy beach surrounded by undulating dunes and low cliffs. You can access it from either end but the northern end is via a steep cliff path so no good for the less able. A stunning place at sunset / rise. Perfect for long, easy and peaceful dog walks.
  • Stunning beach, we go here regularly via step toes. Today was the first time we did the cliff walk, amazing views. Recommend getting involved with the beach clean ups here. Good way to get to know more about the beach and the people that care about it.
  • Absolutely beautiful. Lovely beach. Interesting sea cave and wee bothies, abandoned graveyard and gorgeous waterfall. Be prepared for a long walk though and climbing over rocks but well worth it.
  • Went back twice because this was an outstandingly beautiful beach, almost deserted with lots of interesting driftwood and birdlife. One of those rejuvenating places where you genuinely want to just leave your footprints behind.
  • Very beautiful. There is a nice walk down the cliff side to the beach. Although maybe best avoided if you have a fear of heights!! Go further a long the top path till you come to a house at the end where you can take a more easier path down to the beach.
