10 x better than I thought it would be! 100% would recommend this place to anyone Be prepared for a messy time tho more »
Booked Just for Tots for myself, niece and great niece. I was dreading it to be honest having read some poor reviews. However, from the moment we arrived; the welcome at the gate; the swift and effici... more »
Great holiday with my son and grandchildren. We stayed in a deluxe lodge which was not as deluxe as some other lodges we have holidayed in, but was clean and comfortable for the week. We also had the ... more »
Great location, virtually opposite the seafront. Plenty to see and do. Loads of stuff for the kids. Restaurants pricey, but pleasant enough. Accommodation (we stayed in the seaside apartments) characterful and enjoyable with all you need, although noisy when others are in the building around you. Overall an enjoyable experience, but not a place to go if you like peace and quiet...
Liked the fact that they accommodated our party to a ground floor Bungalow as we had an elderly lady with us which was a free upgrade. My 10 month son did find a alcoholic bottle behind the sofa which they were plesent enough to offer us some vouchers as an apology. Lots to do for kids. Real big living dinning room. Bedrooms and kitchen and wet room. Got complimentary washing up liquid with towel and sponge. Toilet roll was there also. Would not pay £20 for their all you can eat again as was very basic food. Not much choice.
Excellent and a very nice place. We had a few problems in our accommodation, but this was sorted swiftly and we were kept updated over the phone. The facilities and entertainment are very good, but the pool can seem cold sometimes. Most of the apartments are very far from the car park (luggage trolleys are provided) so keep this in mind when packing! Minehead itself is great with a nice beach, supermarkets etc., but not many shops in the town centre. In our experience, Minehead is the best Butlin's resort, and we will continue to return here.
Our silver apartment is small but adequate for our needs. The beds are quite uncomfortable so would recommend bringing own pillows. Plenty to do with children free of charge such as funfair, parks and swimming. Also bring plenty of money as plenty also costs and it's not cheap like go karts and mini golf. Free entertainment but also some entertainment costs and seating is limited so early arrival for best seats is recommended. Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the red coat staff who are fantastic with kids. Something to do for all ages. We booked a weekend self catering break to save money so we had more to spend at the resort on fun.
Great stay last weekend at the just for tots weekend. Staff very friendly and great room. We had a silver room with a baby and asked for a fridge on the off chance to keep her milk in. Butlins provided this which pleased us very much. Can't fault the resort at all - a great place to stay at.
