Snozone, Milton Keynes

4.0
#1 of 32 in Winter Sports in United Kingdom
Take to 170 m (557 ft) of slopes any time of the year at Snozone. If you’re a bit rusty, take lessons to learn new skiing and snowboarding techniques. Check out the Learn to Ski/Snowboard in a Day package if you’ve got no experience at all. Book a lesson designed just for the kids. Take a break from skiing and go sledding, or watch the kids sled while you sip a coffee in the warm cafe. Wear warm clothes and rent everything you’ll need for the slopes, except for gloves and socks, which are available for purchase. • The first two lessons were great. Great instructors making it really fun and enjoyable, with a lot of instruction and guidance. The customer service is terrible. They booked the wrong type of lesson twice (one unknown to me as no-one booked onto that lesson). During all stages of booking and checking in was not informed it was a group lesson after asking for a private one. When getting ready for the next lesson i realised that is was a group one; unaware that I could attempt to change the lesson at the very last second (providing I could find a suitable member of staff in time as there was hardly any around) and not wanting to waste an entire evening getting there just to go home I took part in the group lesson. The instruction was poor, the individual direction minimal at best. Trying to sort out the incorrectly booked next lesson was appalling. The staff were unhelpful and unwilling to accept any fault. They are unwilling to give even a partial refund for a lesson that wasn't a lesson.
  • Great for a family day out. The instructors are very good and most patient. You can leave the kids safely in their hands and have a nice cup of tea overlooking the slopes. Not exactly cheap though!
  • Richard took my snow boarding and it was fantastic such good fun can't wait to go back to do my lesson 3 and 4. Not a great start to the experience but was fully compensated. Would recommend to anyone!!
  • Never been skiing before and I must recommend this to everyone! Booked lesson 1 of 5 and had such a friendly guy doing the lessons really good instructor picked it up nice and easy... Same as most places that have this much to offer the food and drinks prices was unacceptable, but in the Milton Keynes branch there is many other food places inside the shopping centre/ food court (like Wagamama) 😁 overall I'd recommend to everyone snow is actual snow it's cool!
  • Great place, great fun however avoid peak times especially if you are learning as it can get very congested. Also slope etiquette is not good. The lessons are great and it is worth considering membership if you are starting from scratch as this may save you money in the long run.
