  • Went here recently to walk my dog, it was a nice area with a lake, and a conservation area. However it was quite small, and taking the long route around it was only 2 miles of walking. Probably would ...  read more »
  • A cheap and very good day out. There is plenty to do for kids a good park sandpit and loads of space to run around. You can have a barbecue picnic or there is a small cafe on site

  • Lovely country park, children's play areas excellent (and there are three of them). Pushchair friendly stroll around the lake, or take a short cut through the nature reserve path. Loads of space for picnics, delicious ice cream from the shop, only drawback is that vehicles have access right round the path so if you have toddlers you have to stay closer than you otherwise might.
  • Plenty for the kids to do and some easy walks around the lakes. Nice little cafe for snacks but not covered seating, fine if the weather is nice.
  • Came here for the carp fishing, thought is was really good and well run, unfortunately they stopped night fishing and closed off some areas to anglers. Secure, clean and good parking.
  • Beautiful park with plenty to do and great local pubs for a drink once the kids have driven you crazy
  • A lovely walk around the lakes with a raised walkway through the nature reserve. Lots of interesting play equipment for the children to play on.
