While the setting and location were both very pleasant the service of the meal and the meal itself were what I would consider as second rate at best. I'm sure that having briefly glanced at other revi...  more »

  • After a very long sardine experience trying to play putt putt the kids were starving so went to the café for a bite to eat. Ordered sandwiches (which we thought would be toasted) but we were served dry stale bread that was disgusting with a 'salad' that was greens with one cherry tomato cut in half! The only thing edible was the plain crisps. Ordered slush puppy but the tiniest cup every seen, two sips later child was asking for another drink! A £3 deal at Tesco would have been a better option. What a rip off, wont go there again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Wouldn't even give it a one star but wont let me post without it.
  • Lovely layout of the golf course but condition wise the greens and rough are the worst in the area for the time of the year. I can't justify £30 a round to play on a course in that condition or a season ticket for around £750. Perfect beginners course but for the serious golfer I would recommend a course that is private and is better maintained.
  • Nice place for a function. Drinks are priced a little high though. Parking can be difficult when there is busy function on. Had my wedding reception here and the food and staff were fantastic.
  • This is my local course so I play it regularly. It's an intermediate course with a few hazard free PAR 3s, short PAR 4s and Strait PAR 5s. It's perfect for beginners or improves but won't challenge anyone who plays off a 10 or lower. The green keep is OK but could be better and bunker sand is local DIY store stuff, nothing special. All in all it a good course. Good but average. There's nothing that sets it apart from every other pay-n-play course out there. So if your not far away and never played it come and have a go. But it's not the sort of course worth travelling hours for.

Where to stay in Milton Keynes

Milton Keynes is growing quickly. The city's modern architectural features are built around the town's green spaces, and the center of town offers hotels and apartment rentals near attractions and transportation. Some attractions, such as stately homes, are located on the outskirts of the city. Consider a stay at a B&B outside the city center to be near the historical residences.
