Luch menu was limited but adequate for a short order system, and made me feel like a stalled horse being fed to order in the converted stables. more »

Park is well appointed with 800 years of built history contained therein... however there can be a lot of dogs accompanied by some very inconsiderate dog walkers... Just because you are devoted to tha... more »
Brilliant for taking the pooch for a run, keep a close eye for marked areas where livestock is kept so you can temporarily leash up. Very well kept Park, never too overcrowded. We love it
Very nice park for day out. Play area is great, kids love natural woods adventure area. Castles are not in very good condition. Lake is beautiful. Khaber pass bridge is very fun to drive on.
The sun was shining the day we walked here, so that made it even more special. There were a lot of dog walkers and Wellies. The parking lot is fairly small so some competition for real spaces but once on the trails it was delightfully mossy, with bits of history protruding here and there. On an off day I'm sure it could very well be nicknamed MUDdock.
A great place for a family day out. Plenty to see and do. Lot's of facilities, including free parking. Great walks, great scenery, small swing park for the kids and lots more. Recommended place to visit. I go all through the year (even in winter), choice of two cafés in the courtyard. Affordable day out for all the family. Lots of activities during the spring and summer. See their website for upcoming events.
Very large space with two castles. Lots of pretty walking trails. Not too crowded, although the main car park was packed full when the weather was nice.
