  • This is definitely a beautiful area. The walking paths are great and we saw lots of local residents out walking their dogs. The castle ruins and the WW II bunkers are well worth the walk.
  • I had never visited the park before but was recommended to take the wee one there as it was such a lovely day. Our 2 year old loved it lots to do for kids. Fed the ducks met some horses, play park adv...  read more »
  • Amazing design and beautiful flowers. Love the hedge work and the numerous people with their dogs of all varieties. Nice start to our vacation in Scotland.
  • Such a beautiful and historical park. The castle ruins are a sight to behold. I love to walk right around the park with my dog, it's a beautiful walk. Fairly easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. There is also a cafe for food and drinks with prices as expected.
  • Mugdock park is not very well sign posted. The roads up to the visitor centre are single tracked, winding and dangerous if you come across someone who is driving the national speed limit as the road suggests. Mugdock park itself is not disabled friendly. If you have limited motability, use a walker, a wheel chair or motorised scooter, or have a baby in a pram/buggy you are limited to just the visitor park. If you do have limited motability or have a baby in a pram/buggy you're better off going to Balloch Park as more routes are tarmaced.
  • Lovely walk. Be careful on the narrow drive up to it. Great walk for the dogs. Lovely outdoor spaces to use for parties. Wee gem just outside Glasgow.
  • Lots of paths mostly used by hikers, but from mountain biker point of view, some even quite challenging. Really great place for a allday trip with your family.
  • Great Park for walks on a sunny day. Close to Glasgow. Brilliant for kids, with an amazing assault course. Good ice cream
