  • Pop in for lunch regularly, always served good quality food at very decent prices. Nice environment as well, especially if you sit outside.

  • Until today I didn't know this existed as a place to eat. I live 15 minutes away! I went with a friend, who had been before. We were not intending to go there , but just called in.You don't have to be a member of the club to eat there. Splendid choice, nice room - with bar, with TV showing golf being played. From where we sat we had fantastic view of Eston Hills and the gold course. Just outside the big window where we sat was a bird table - a pole with nuts? in cylindrical tubes, a pheasant kept jumping up on the ledge of this, tapping the container and eating whatever fell from it, over and over again! it was amazing. the food was excellent We had the chilli and rice and we shared a side plate of chips (fries) Desserts are available, I had the treacle sponge and custard. Waitress service. Coffee was obtainable from a dispenser near the bar. Very pleasant surroundings and very reasonable price. they also do afternoon teas Glad I found out about it. ,
