  • They have great exhibitions and create a good atmosphere for taking your time enjoying the artwork. Definitely an important part of Middlesbrough.
  • A beautiful contemporary building with a great cafĂ©.
  • A great space with interesting exhibitions and artwork. I also enjoyed the outside area and the amount of ducks in the pond! All in all a great place to visit if in Middleborough.
  • MIMA, I must admit, I was very impressed. The art is excellent and it is a family friendly atmosphere. It is well worth a visit if you have small children especially on a Saturday as they have their 'Arts and Crafts' trolley. The cafe is also very good and reasonably priced.
  • I saw the Tate Liverpool-based drawing exhibition which was as good as anything I have seen. I love MIMA, have been many times, and am so glad it is there. I am from Teesside. The only reason I didn't give excellent for service is the man at the shop desk was offhand (bald head, thick accent). All the other staff were really nice. Thankyou.
