  • A fun place and good for cyclists. Just don't arrive between 11.30 and 12.00 as that's too late for anything breakfasty and too early for lunch. Today, despite arriving at 11.25, the two young girls serving were not trained well enough and very slow so by the time it was our turn to be served, we had entered the savoury 'dead zone'. The 'chef' was totally occupied chopping up red cabbage and blamed his unwillingness to put two slices of bacon on the grill on staff cuts. We settled for a meanly sized piece of cake which was 50% of the size of usual portions. The tea was good. Come on guys, it's a schlep out to Hogshaw, make us feel welcome ffs.
  • A very nice farm but obviously that means it's way in the countryside with narrow roads and no proper signs. The place itself is huge. Nice restaurant which I felt was better than the cafe inside. Both had good options for food. The ratatouille was v tasty.
  • Great place to take the kids, indoor and outdoor activities, good kids food in the play barn and proper adult food in the restaurant. (I had a steak, from a cow raised on the farm, as good as any meal I've had anywhere.) The kids really like feeding the goats, watching the ferrets and thought the rabbits were cute. Good staff, friendly and helpful, and just a really nice place for a day out.
  • Cafe here is the highlight, great local and seasonal food properly prepared and fresh. Farm is super kid friendly, with great indoor and outdoor play.
  • Fun place to take the kids but way over priced for what it is. Food is basic and very expensive.
