  • Passed the museum so decided to go in. Free entry just pop a donation in the box. Found it really interesting learning about the history of the town and the people.  more »

  • This is a wonderful gem of a museum telling the varied and personal history of the people of Mevagissey. Free entry and staffed entirely by helpful and friendly volunteers! If you are a UK taxpayer and do leave a donation don't forget to ask for the gift aid form to sign.
  • A quaint little place and a good way to spend an hour or so. The staff are welcoming and friendly too
  • It is very short, an hour if you read everything but it is free entry and they rely solely on donations. Lots of good and detailed information
  • Really interesting little museum with some fascinating artefacts and the building itself is over 250 years old. Another bonus is that it's free! The kids loved it too.
  • A nice little museum. It's also free to get in which is great. Some of the things in there are a bit random but it's a nice bit of history about the area. Only takes about an hour if you look around well but it's free. Nice addition to area.
