  • An imaginative, well presented attraction, staffed by very nice people who were only to pleased to interact. If you are interested in model railways, then this is a must see.
  • Being male and of a certain age I had a train set as a youngster. I just had the tracks, engines and carriages. At the Mevagissey World of Model Railways the trains run through their own miniature lan...  read more »
  • Paid a flying visit first time back for ten years large sections currently under maintenance but at £4 you can't really complain.
  • It's okay to visit but more so if you are especially interested in model railways. The place is pretty small so only takes about 30 minutes to really see it all. Some of the models are interactive with little buttons turning on lights, blowing clothes on the washing line or turning a car around on a stand. My young family enjoyed the walk around and it was an escape from the reason but I felt the price was a little high for what there was to see.
  • Good model railway. Been there about 7 years ago and has not really changed in terms of size which was quite disappointing but still nevertheless interesting
  • Enjoyed the model railway and all the small details. Found all but one event in the quiz!
  • I visited here in June 2012 and i enjoyed it. It's not the kind of place i'd normally visit but fancied trying something different and i'm glad i did. It's not the biggest attraction in Cornwall but you have to appreciate the amount of time and effort that has gone into making the displays. There're some buttons to press which all do different things to the scene in front of you, one lights a church up and another makes some ski lifts move. The highlight of my visit was when i was operating a train and after entering a tunnel a cat came running out the other end! I asked the owner if the cat was part of the show but he said it had sneaked in and was derailing some of the trains. It was great and there's a You tube video on it if you look for "Cat vs model railway". The cat should live there and be given a job! You won't spend more than 45 minutes or so in here but it's a great pace for enthusiasts or anyone who just want's to re-live their days of having a model railway.
  • We visited with my 4 year old son and he loved it. We were there for well over an hour and had to drag him out in the end. Definitely good value for money.
