Twinlakes Park, Melton Mowbray

Categories: Theme Parks, Water & Amusement Parks
Inspirock Rating:
3.5/5 based on 900+ reviews on the web
Children will have a heyday at Twinlakes Park. In fact, the park is so child friendly that groups without kids aren’t allowed in. Each section of the park provides a wide range of attractions, including a zoo, a log flume, a boating lake, an obstacle course, and a rollercoaster. With a good amount of indoor activities, the park delivers fun even during stormy weather. There are strict height regulations and not many rides suitable for toddlers. Primarily designed for older children and teenagers, the park does not offer much to suit thrill-seeking adults. Arrive early to avoid parking troubles during the busy season. A visit to Twinlakes Park represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Melton Mowbray vacation builder to plot your vacation.

  • Visited on 13th October. Has a lot to live up to as I have been to universal studios Halloween horror nights and they were brilliant. This attempt was mildly amusing but sadly lacking. The pie factory...  read more »

  • After visiting twin lakes yesterday with a large group of people more than 50 of daughter went to the cafe in the large indoor play centre for a drink....gave the member of staff a 20 pound note and waited for her change. Only to realise the next day that the staff had given her an old 10 note in her change.. which is no longer in circulation. I called Twin lakes and got told that no manager was able to deal with this problem and that I can email my complaint and it will be dealt with in 28 I'm now out of pocket by 10....if this member of staff does this 5 times in a day they have made a nice tidy sum of money... PLEASE CHECK YOUR 10 POUND NOTES. THE OLD GOLD ONES ARE NO LONGER VALID. NEVER WILL I GO AGAIN.
  • Review is based on the farm section. Poor care for the animals, lack of proper environments and cramped cages. No thought seems to have gone into the welfare. Play areas basic but ok for small children. Feel sorry for the staff that work here as they seemed nice but got the feeling that their hands were tied.
  • At the time of going the place was getting new paths laid, which wasnt stated when we booked online, opened a 10 however there wasnt many staff until 11. The fair rides didnt open until gone 11. Looked unstaffed. The food i ordered was cold and the burger looked like was 3 days old. Waterpark was closed. The only enjoyment was the parks and zipwires apart from that it was pretty dreadful.
  • Great value for money. Can feel a little run down in places. But the staff go a long way to help you out. Toilets and changing facilities are cleaned regularly. Food is priced fairly. We didn't get to see everything even though we were there all day. Will definitely be back.
  • I have loved Twinlakes since I was small. Its such a great place to have some fun. No charges for rides! Good cafe serving cheap and good food ( chips, burgers, coffee etc). Massive indoor playarea great for big snd small kids. Definitely reccomend this place for anyone wanting a day out, that will tire the kids out!
