  • A lovely afternoon spent in the park including lunch at the café there. Lots to do for all ages and the park is kept beautiful and litter free.
  • Great versatile park in centre of Matlock with open space, tennis court, skate park, children's play area, pitch and putt and small train and motor boats on pond, plus park cafe
  • This is a small but pleasant park in the middle of Matlock. There is a good play area with swings, climbing frames and a paddling place as well as a large duck pond with boats! There is a small train ...  more »

  • Fantastic public park set in the historic town of matlock. Clean , well presented , family friendly with even a parent and child unisex toilet. Plenty to keep the young ones occupied for a few hours and to burn off some energy will revisit with family next time I am in the area.
  • This is a great little park if you are in the area, there is plenty to do for all ages, and there some interesting oddments to keep adults going, such as the information near the bridge about water levels. Iceland and Costa are nearby, so ice-creams and drinks can be bought even when the onsite cafe is closed.
  • Loads for the kids to do. Great walk - really well kept park. Toilets are clean. Lots of Pokestops and pokemon - the pokegym here is also very popular. Last time I came it was changing colour every 5 mins lol! Parking can be difficult at the hols and weekends.
  • Our little one was in the splash park daily when we lived near here! It has a nice café & bandstand and plenty of grassy space. Local passers by are reet friendly too. But the boats on the lake stink of diesel when they're running. The mini train that's there in the Summer is cute, and the free Wifi's a nice bonus!
  • The park ist quite nice to meet there for a chat. But it's a bit basic too.
