  • Large shopping village that is in an old Arkright Cotton mill on at least four levels. There is a cafe/restaurant for just drinks or for larger meals with toilets nearby. There is a large car park but it is NOT free some of which you get back off your goods. Clothes are for both men and women, and the items sold are for a certain age group, lets say 40 and over. Kitchen wares and household sundries are also sold on one floor. Prices for most items can be rather expensive and I do feel the whole place is geared for customers with a few pennies in their pockets. There is a lift for anyone with walking difficulties and you can get to the Mill by bus with a bus stop outside
  • How is this place still going? We were there on a Saturday and the place was empty. Not surprised really every item is way over priced. And the clothes are just the same quality as you get at Primark. Unbelievable. The car park you have to pay for. To look around an old wonky floored mothball smelling mill. I’m sure some of the items are a con. They have printed tickets on them saying the item was one price and it’s now reduced to another price. How does that work? Was the item sent back to the manufacturer for them to put new tickets on? Something dodgy there. Such tat too.
  • Great if you like shopping for designer clothes. Not much choice of sizes. Woman upto 22, men and unisex xl. Lots of choice of over priced items. Pay before you park - you have to decide how long you'll be. As an incentive to buy they give you half your carparking ticket cost back with any purchase. The museum cost £3 with a discount of 50ppp voucher from the carpark. Very interesting, needed a few more signs and information posts not just qr scan codes. Not all of us know how this works, a little info how to would be nice. It was worth going for their museum which could be way more successful. Don't take small kids unless you're prepared to make sure they don't stick fingers in unwanted places. You're free to look round and touch machinery. No h and s.
  • Popular with the elderly. Would have been trendy in the 70s.
  • Fusty smelling mill, full of overpriced items and and unremarkable restaurant. And you have to pay for the privilege of parking there.
