  • Nipped in on the way from forbidden corner and glad we did. The ice cream is delicious and great value! Will make sure to go back again soon!  more »
  • Great ice cream - in fact it's my preferred to any other ever tasted. Take a walk over the hills and dales then stop off for a banana and mango ice cream with an excellent cup of coffee. Goodness know...  more »

  • The staff are amazing. Took my little boy up for an ice cream and got a sandwich as well. The food is nice the ice cream is nice and there's an indoor play area for little ones. Outside there is a little play area with a slide and swings and monkey bars. There is also a little shop which sells meat, cuddly toys and much more
  • The lovely ice cream flavours never cease to excite me. Great choices and a nice drive through the moors to get there.
  • Has to be the best ice-cream around for miles! Made on the premises and definitely worth the trip although be warned there are just too many flavours to choose from. Be prepared to queue on sunny days as this place is a very popular stopping point in the dales. They have also recently branched out into having a 'farm shop' selling goods other than ice-cream.
  • Lovely ice cream with dozens of flavours, but the staff are a bit miserable. The place gets very busy during the summer, as you'd expect. There is seating inside and out and you can visit the cows (all nicely cleaned for delicate townies). Don't let my view of the staff put you off; this is a great place to take the kids (or not) and enjoy some delicious ice cream.
  • Yummy icecream, new childrens room and outdoor play area. Shame that you have to walk around the building to get to play area and toilets across the car park. Well worth a visit- usually after a trip to druids temple, jevaulx abbey or forbidden corner!
