  • Lovely ice cream with dozens of flavours, but the staff are a bit miserable. The place gets very busy during the summer, as you'd expect. There is seating inside and out and you can visit the cows (all nicely cleaned for delicate townies). Don't let my view of the staff put you off; this is a great place to take the kids (or not) and enjoy some delicious ice cream.
  • Has to be the best ice-cream around for miles! Made on the premises and definitely worth the trip although be warned there are just too many flavours to choose from. Be prepared to queue on sunny days as this place is a very popular stopping point in the dales. They have also recently branched out into having a 'farm shop' selling goods other than ice-cream.
  • Now if you like ice cream, this is the place to go... its not the cheapest ice cream but it is really good quality and a fantastic treat. Its location is also great and you can see the cows where the milk comes from... with over 30 flavours all made on the farm, its a great few hours to spend.
  • Great place for an ice cream, which taste better knowing that they're made on the farm. Perfect for a stop when touring the Dales for an hour or so, especially with kids - the play area has lots for them to do. However, beyond that, there's not a lot to occupy a whole afternoon or day.
  • Great ice cream selection and a brilliant wee play area for kids
