  • A park to suit all the family, play areas, chickens and other animals to see. A very large open space, with mature landscaping. Other attractions here. Captain Cook museum, 2 cafes, walled garden and lakes with plenty of ducks, geese and swans to feed. Bring a picnic and enjoy a great day out, free entry to park and plenty of free parking. Disabled parking spaces and situated in different parts of the park for easy access to key areas, please check with Park for location of these.
  • Great well maintained park with lake and roller skating facilities. Dog walking areas.
  • Fantastic Park, with animals, this is a huge park and is home to the James Cook history museum, which also has a café to get food, coffee, etc (last time I checked, they don't accept card) The park has a play area for the kids to climb, however, the park is so huge, if you don't want to see any of that, you can find a place to read a book, etc. The park is dog friendly.
  • Stewart Park is one of the best free days out in our town, open space, wildlife and I lovely scenic walk.
  • Loverly peaceful space for all. Good musuem and ponds and animals. Play area for kids. Dogs welcome.
