  • We recently called in to try some wines. Then had coffee, really good coffee? Decided to have lunch, it was very nice! Bought some wine and liquors, ready for Christmas. Mmm or maybe the weekend. Then...  more »

  • Spent a rainy half term afternoon at the vineyard. Thoroughly enjoyed the mix of cheese, wine and liqueurs on offer for tasting. Great venue and friendly staff and a bottle of bramble liqueur to enjoy...  more »
  • Organised a visit for local business group. We had a lovely welcome from owner Mike who also generously shared his business experience in running the vineyard. Staff were lovely too, very attentive. We had coffee and locally made cake and the opportunity for a little wine tasting in the conservatory. A very successful evening.
  • We booked a wine tasting through a groupon offer and were persuaded to take the lunch option with this. The food was delicious! It was evident that home grown produce had been used. The wine tasting was exceptional value through groupon, including a cheeseboard also, but would still be good value if purchased at full price at only 35p per 2cl taster - this was a flat rate including a selection of wines and liqueurs. I was not overly keen on their wines, however I did end up purchasing a few of their liqueurs. A lovely afternoon was had by our entire party (consisting of 9). Would recommend.
  • Flyers present this as a family attraction. Nothing could be further from the truth. Arrived at lunchtime, nothing on the menu suitable for children, glowering looks from man who I presume is the owner towards our tables. We explained the situation regarding the menu and I received a stinking attitude from the little napoleon. Will not be recommending, experience noted in our visitors book for future guests and report being made to local tourist office.
