  • Lovely place for walking the dog, although difficult parking as commuters from adjoining railway station appear to use all the local free parking,no public toilets.
  • Very nice environment, slightly marred by the paths which were uneven and sometimes unsightly. It has a river running through it.
  • Brabyns Park is located close to the Centre of the small village of Marple. Created probably at the end of the 19th century you can walk here through meadows and paths along a river, for example, to an old viaduct. Traces from the past, including an ancient pet cemetery is to be found everywhere. Outside the Park, there are idyllic fields where horses graze. Absolutely relaxing there.
