  • “Wow what an attitude” Quite possibly the most disgusting attitude and complete disregard for any level or standard of customer service was demonstrated by "Kelly" tonight. Essentially there was what in summary outwardly appeared to be a childish squabble between Kelly and another customer that was tantamount to a babies toys being flung from a pram. At best it could have seen described as the worst customer service of the year. Truly speechless. Never, ever would we have anything to do with Balgonie Castle. Wow
  • Great experience at Balgonie for a friend's wedding. The staff were great, very professional and engaging, and the venture is truly unique. Highly recommend for those looking for something different and appreciate history. Sad to see the hate campaign, ignore it!
  • Here is what Balgonie should do to resolve this issue. Fire/divorce that women from your life and that venue. Apologise for stating the details of a contract thus creating a breach in data protection. Pray that the poor bride you like to call bridezilla does not go to a solicitor for what you willingly shared to the world. The venue looks incredible and from what I have read the REAL owners seem lovely. We have all had crazy girlfriends called Kelly. Time to lose yours!
  • My daughter got married there last August and it was a wonderful day all round. Right from the start to finish. Any issues we had were raised directly with the team at the Castle and dealt with satisfactorily. I agree that this current issue could have been dealt with better, but I don't agree with a trial by social media. If you want to be married in a medieval setting and have your wedding meal in the Grand Hall, then you couldn't pick a more perfect setting.
  • Was considering a 60th birthday party booking here, shan't bother after the owners behaviour to an innocent bride on FB soo unprofessional and thuggish to the poor bride just asking for advice. Disgusting, would rate minus 1 if could. I am avoiding like the plague. I suggest everyone checks FACEBOOK, Twitter and Trip Adviser beforehand.
