  • Most of the arm is used for car parking that tend to wreck the atmosphere of it. The arm is a bit narrow for cars and people. However you do get good views of the town and sea.  more »
  • They've made a good job of this. What could have been just a wall has two cafes, two bars ( including the fabulous Harbour Arms micro pub) and two galleries. Good views over Margate and out to sea. Ve...  more »
  • Walked from the other end of margate bay to the harbour arm for a late lunch only to find that everything was closing literally as we walked up to it. Maybe this is only a summer season place!  more »

  • No place can beat this on a lovely sunny summer afternoon. Glass of wine, scummy food and good company.
  • Nice place with a beautiful view on Margate beach and a good range of shops and cafes: an art gallery, a vintage shop, a swedish cafè and a couple of pubs.
  • Yes, with the right weather Harbour Arm can be a romantic place rivalling anything the Amalfi Coast has to offer* There are some stylish little, highly authentic bars on it, where I would happily have sat all evening watching local life. You certainly feel a long way from London. Well, you ARE a long way from London, but you feel it, if you know what I mean. Good work Margate, we'll just turn a blind eye to the chaotic Dreamland fiasco. *I haven't been to the Amalfi Coast.
  • Friendly and beautifully situated. Good beer and Cider selection.
  • Nice place. Do not accept credit card, so be sure to have cash with you.
