  • Went during the Easter school holidays, many signs stating free to enter, when about to go in a woman called out that it was not open until May!! No signage stating this, very upsetting for children.  more »

  • It's a wonderful re-invention of the classic seaside fair, and it embraces the nostalgia and history better than any other park. Don't expect the latest thrill rides here, but also don't be put off by the vintage rides - they are immense fun and will entertain all ages.
  • Dreamland is well worth a visit. It's free to get in, but you pay for all the rides. There is a good selection of activities - all the usual rides and also an amusement arcade and plenty of food-stalls selling fairground classics. There is also a pleasing 1950s retro feel (courtesy of Hemingway Design) with the restored buildings, catchy branding and quirky merchandise. It's great that this attraction is bringing crowds back to Margate.
  • Nostalgic and historical theme park. This is brilliant place to visit for all the family. It's free to enter, so you don't have to ride anything. It's also a great venue for events!
  • A wonderful amusement park with a vintage feel to it. And Margate itself has a magnificent coastal path and a wonderful Contemporary Art gallery. One of the hidden gems in England. Want to come back again and again!
  • I've been twice now, once where you paid for a day ticket and again when you paid for all the rides separately. the latter is by far the better option. my wife and I stayed in margate for the weekend and went roller skating- it's a very good venue, I just hope it can attract enough people to stay open
