  • Great for walking your furry friend or with friends and family. Often see mum's with buggies too. The cafe is open 10am till 2pm. There are different walks available depending on your fitness level. Doggie bins in the car park. Free parking.
  • Very interesting. Lovely volunteers. Weekends best due to volunteer availability. Cafe serves super home made food at very reasonable prices and supports the project.
  • Great for walking or cycling. Access to the phoenix green ways. Teversal Trails and onto the Five Pits Trails. The small visitors centre is extremely reasonable for drinks and snacks.
  • Pleasley Pit and Country Park has a lot to offer visitors. Whether your interest is industrial archeology, the mining industry, the amazing wildlife on the local nature reserve or you just want to enjoy the countryside, there is something here for everyone. It is also great for dog walkers, ramblers as well as photographers! The Museum itself is very interesting and highlights the poor conditions in which people worked and is definitely worth a visit. There's also a cafe on site which is run by volunteers, where they serve excellent bacon butties and a grand cup of tea. A fabulous place to go especially if you want to unwind and enjoy the open air and peace and quiet!
  • Love it here there is always something to do and see you can also get a drink from the cafe and hot and cold food
