  • Great cafe at cheap prices, run by volunteers. Best bacon butty in the area. Numerous cycling trails in the vicinity. Fab pit museum, run by enthusiasts.  more »

  • Great place for cyclists and walkers to visit located within Pleasley country Park, The Colliery is open to visitors and has a very popular cafe
  • Well preserved mining equipment, surrounding trees etc. yet to become well established so looks a bit bare.
  • Tranquil nice walk or ride
  • Cracking place for a walk with dogs or ride on the bike. Couple of cheap cafes as well.
