  • As an ex miner it's great to look around the stalls and exhibits and old mining memorabilia the working winding engine really fascinated my young grandson and my older grandson alike and he was asking...  more »

  • Great place for cyclists and walkers to visit located within Pleasley country Park, The Colliery is open to visitors and has a very popular cafe
  • Well preserved mining equipment, surrounding trees etc. yet to become well established so looks a bit bare.
  • Tranquil nice walk or ride
  • Cracking place for a walk with dogs or ride on the bike. Couple of cheap cafes as well.
