We went to watch Dunkirk on the IMAX screen- it was a pleasurable experience- giving you the full cinematic feel. I just wish people wouldn't talk during the film, as if they are in their front room- ...  more »

This review is for the IMAX screen only. The cinema complex has been taken over recently from Odeon and is now run by Vue. The IMAX facility itself is everything you'd expect - big screen, big sound a...  more »

We've decided to spoil ourselves and go to the cinema in Printworks, as they offer the IMax quality of movies. I must admit we were not let down. The premises in which is the cinema located are amazin...  more »

  • Weather you like the place is all down to what sort of place you like to go for leisure time. If you like large chain pubs (spoons) and restaurants (harvester) then you will probably like it. If your a foodie/hipster you definitely wont. The cinema is really good inside with an Imax. Can be rough as toast on Friday and Saturday and they employ a small army of bouncers to deal with it. What it does is day it does well but it's all down to your personal preference
  • Historic Mancunian landmark. Looks great in pictures. It's a bit of a foodie central . The Irish bar is usually a hit, especially for sports, even if it is a bit lacking. Plenty of other places to eat including the infamous Hard Rock Cafe; a lovely wee noodle bar; and Harvester - amongst others. The Odeon cinema is very handy too.
  • Don't like the parking in Manchester area at all. I visit this place rarely for the cinemas or to dine. Always busy, so if you like to go to places that's peaceful, this is not the place.
  • looks good from the outside. inside it has a sad, empty character. places to eat a plenty but there are plenty elsewhere at Manchester. I would say a visit to the cinema is worthwhile but otherwise move on and sample another area. the standard reply from management about having plenty of great reviews rings hollow as I'm far from the only person who doesn't get the concept at Print works.
  • I love wasabi - the sushi restaurant in here. It has plenty of other food options and drinking places, and once the cinema reopens it'll be much better
