  • My wife and I have never done any form of climbing before but just thought it may be a new way to exercise. We attended an induction session led by Jared. The facility itself is amazing with all forms...  more »

  • Great bouldering centre, quite a lot of routes here with traverse, gym area and finger board training etc. They also have top rope, lead and auto belays which is in another area that a lot of people don't even know exist. There's a Café with pizzas and jacket potatoes etc reasonably priced. Lockers, changing rooms and friendly staff. Climbing here is generally regarded as harder than the Depot climbing centre due to it being mostly overhanging routes and the style of setting. It's also got more of an old school hardcore feel so might be a little more intimidating for beginners, but everyone is welcoming and friendly. There's a really hard bouldering area, right at the back that you'll need to get a code for from reception to get in to. They have a car park but it's not obvious where it is.
  • Photos and review are of the soft play only. There's nothing really to fault here hence the 5 stars. Simple, clean and a fun area for young and older kids. The soft play area is self contained, with a locked gate to stop the kids from escaping. There is a larger play area for the older kids, a small one for the toddlers, a ball pit and a couple of bouldering walls too. The soft area isn't as big as some of the others in Manchester, but there is ample areas to keep the kids entertained for a good few hours. It is also reasonably priced, which is a plus. All areas are clean and well maintained. There are also toilets and baby change facilities within the soft play area, so the kids don't need to leave it for the loo. There is ample seating within the area for the adults. Tea, coffee, drinks and slushes are available and are reasonably priced. For those traveling here by car, there is plenty of parking bays in the vicinity which offer 2hrs of free parking. There are also a couple of cheap car parks within a short walking distance for those wanting to stay longer. Overall the kids had a good time here and we will certainly be returning.
  • The best place to climb; really chilled out atmosphere and super helpful people who are great at showing you new ways to achieve amazing climbing. There's a nice little gym, changing rooms, lockers and a great café, it has everything you could need. Xx
  • Staff are great with kids and the play area is fab for the little ones. Only £4 for a tots climbing lesson, juice and buscuit and then they can play in the soft play area as long as they like. Not bad value! In a bit of a weird location but all in all its OK. It is a big building donuts a bit chilly in winter!
  • I try climb at least a couple of times a week, but the routes here are either too easy or too hard. Really spoils the fun not having a selection of routes to climb.
