Where to stay in Manchester

Some of Manchester's finest hotels are located near the city center. Staying there will keep you close to all of the city's main attractions, as well as its main road and rail networks. Manchester's centrally located hotels boast modern rooms, good food, and friendly staff. From there you can easily explore Manchester's famous pubs, rooftop bars, and restaurants. For a more leisurely and quiet experience of the city, venture farther away from the central areas. There you can explore a world of relatively inexpensive boutique hotels and self-catering apartments, especially convenient for visitors using Manchester as a base for exploring northern England and North Wales.

  • I have an American card which doesn't have chip and pin (as American banks are still catching up on this) and the cashier in the bowling alley put through the transaction, I was asked by the card read...  more »
  • This place is great for kids. They have plants to do from bowling, arcade games to dodgems. In the heart of the heart of the shopping mall so plenty to do for the whole family.  more »

  • Used to be brilliant. Has barely any decent arcade machines now. Has been steadily filling with more what I can penny pusher machines.
  • Good place to take this kids for a fun day out. The games are pretty good and the dodgem cars is the best thing.
  • Had my kids birthday party at Namco Bowling Trafford. Absolutely amazing value, the staff couldn't of been more helpful! Defiantly recommend the bowling / build a bear combo. Superb!
  • Fun times can be had here - but it will cost you! The ticket games are fun but the prizes are relatively poor. Bumper cars are great though!
  • Fun arcade but quite often there are machines out of order, just be prepared to spend a lot of money in here you play for tickets which with the prizes you can choose just isn't worth it, the dodgems are good fun and bowling, it can be very busy and loud so avoid if child has sensory issues its all a a bit too much
