  • Big Park with a lake. Very nice in summer to go there and take the sun. You can find different areas with animals horses, bull and so on. There is a train inside to visit the park and a golf club. Is ...  more »
  • Great for winter walks with the children, the play area has also just been renovated and provides hours of fun for the kids. Stop off in the garden centre for something to eat.
  • What a huge park ! Lovely to wander around during daylight. Clearly a good place for families with children and pets to hang out!

  • Came here for bonfire night. Great atmosphere, rides, lights and children loved it. Bonfire display was really nice to watch along with the fireworks set. Nicely set out both fun fair part and the display.
  • Lovely big park, car parks are much better now and are free most days. Nice to walk around by the lake, big activity playground for kids and there is usually an ice cream van nearby. Cafes could be better value but are nice enough.
  • Definitely worth a visit. It's a huge park with a lot of open space to relax in the sun, with woodland walks, a golf course & driving range, an animal farm and stables, two children's parks, a Boating lake, two cafes and it's home to events, such as the Race for Life, Park Life Festival, Carnivals, and circuses. The park is well looked after, and usually kept clean and tidy, however the children's play areas have been neglected a little.
  • Great park with excellent views. Fantastic atmosphere and a great place to have a picnic with the family. Pictures below are taken at the park. Nice little animal area for the younger children. Plenty of activities for everyone enjoy.
  • Best park for a long way. the largest municipal park in Europe so I have been told. Two golf courses lots of open spaces and lots to explore. I have been visiting since I can remember. It has now refurbished its cafes there much better but also more expensive. this is a busy park that is well used for lots of things. running groups, concerts, festivals, a astronomy group, horse riding and lots more. if your coming by car be aware there is a charge for the car-park now.. don`t like that personally.. that and the cafes being expensive is why it lost a star..
