  • Beautiful park. Mini farm is so entertaining for the kids. You can spend a whole day here easily! The cafe is a huge let down though. Staff are rude and unhelpful. It wasn't just a case of them being ...  read more »

  • What can I say about Heaton Park, it's my most favourite place in the whole world. There's nothing not to love--lots of green, woods, trees, an animal farm, golf course, playgrounds for kids, a boating lake, tram museum. Perfect for photographers, dog walkers, families, nature lovers and well, everyone. Metrolink will get you there and there are several car parks. A piece of nature inside the city!
  • Best park for a long way. the largest municipal park in Europe so I have been told. Two golf courses lots of open spaces and lots to explore. I have been visiting since I can remember. It has now refurbished its cafes there much better but also more expensive. this is a busy park that is well used for lots of things. running groups, concerts, festivals, a astronomy group, horse riding and lots more. if your coming by car be aware there is a charge for the car-park now.. don`t like that personally.. that and the cafes being expensive is why it lost a star..
  • Marvellous park lots of green space to explore. Heaton Hall makes a lovely centrepiece. There is a nice cafe in the stable block.
  • Great large open space. I've been a frequent visitor for 20 years. My children have enjoyed it throughout these years at all their stages in life. Now it's just me the wife & dog!
  • Heaton Park is one of the most beautiful places in the north of England. It is the biggest municipal park in Europe & home to Park life music festival.
