  • Delightful walks around the water park. Excellent for all: Families with buggies, bikes and roller skates, dog walkers, dog runners, lots of runners, sedate post lunch walkers and fishermen/ women. Al...  more »
  • Great place for nice leisurely walks or a picnic and a place to go walk the dogs but I would prefer it to be more family and friends and a space for the dogs elsewhere  more »
  • This is one of the treasures of Chorlton and is a nice step back from the hustle and bustle of the main part. Within walking distance of the main strip, or for those that find it too far the bus is th...  more »

  • pros: It was a very nice day out in this park. You can walk round the lake, or through the river bank enjoying the scenery of the nature. There are two playgrounds for the little ones: one near the lake and the other one just outside the park. cons: Mind your steps, lots of dogs poos in the grass, and the toilets are a complete mess, I think it would be much better if they were paid toilets to keep it clean and tidy.
  • Earlier in the year I took my cats down to the water park equipped with a bag containing a towel and my swim cozzy. I arrived and the weather was glorious, the cats looked pleased. Much to disgust I noticed no one seems to be swimming in the water park. I thought what a misleading title of an attraction this is. Straight u-turn and over to waterworld in stoke Trent. Not great but better than this plenty of rides and warm water. Time wasted
  • Lovely place for walks and picnics. Nice play areas. Can also extend a walk over to sale water park and stop at Jackson's boat pub on the way.
  • Beatiful place. Nice family and fun place with lots of birds, fishing and walking around. Highly picturesque.
  • This is a fantastic day out for these that like walking but don't want to go hiking. Walk round the lake if you want a longer walk go along the river mersey , if you are feeling energetic walk round sale water park as well. Great to let the kids and dogs blow of steam but be careful the river is deeper than it looks and there are no guard rails anywhere but the main door path is much higher than the river so should not be a problem most .
