Becky Falls Reviews
We found this place on a whim, after searching for things to do in Devon, and as frequent visitors, we wanted something else to do, to explore, to conquer. This certainly ticked all the boxes, small f... more »
Arrived just after heavy rain. Managed to find dry seats and had our lunch. The teenagers went to see/hold the animals but came back very soon to say - that's meant for younger kids - great for them".... more »
This is pretty place with different walk length/ability selections but they are not at all difficult. There are some animals for children to see but I do not think this really justifies the admission ... more »
Some good trails for all abilities, although no access for wheelchairs/strollers, due to the terrain. Some great scenic views. Staff really friendly, and food in cafe decent portions and good quality for a reasonable price. Wife really liked the cream tea! Spent 4 hours here good value for £30 for family of four.
After going to the House Of Marbles, our family decided to find some woods or a field to have our picnic in so we saw a sign for Becky falls and thought it would be a good place to have a picnic for a bit so we drove there. When we got there, you had to pay. £50 for the whole of our family! We drove straight out and were disgusted by the price. After doing a bit of research we found it was a place with a cafe and animals. It does look very pretty and animals look cool, but £50 for a few hours is too much. I recommend checking the price on the website and work out how much it is for your family before you go.
We decided to pop in on a whim and pulled I to the parking only to be charged what we thought was a lot of money for what turned out to be a an albeit pleasant walk around a stream, some animals in small looking enclosures and a gift shop and cafe. The food was good in the cafe but overall entrance price was too high.
Lovely place to go if you love the outdoors- beautiful woodland to walk through on 3 different trails of varying difficulty, one with a waterfall which is great to climb up even for kids. Restaurant is good with nice food, gift shop has nice things in. Kids can do a stamp trail on the easiest route which our 7 year old loved- they get a little prize at the end. The staff are polite, friendly and very helpful, service with a smile! The animal show was great, the staff member was fun and knowledgeable. They also have baby goats you can go in to stroke- both parents and babies love petting. Very picturesque, good for photographers, you can also take your dog! Good family day out worth every pennie and will be going back to complete the red route if you love the outdoors and walking then this is perfect for you
Amazing environment and friendly staff at the center. The only thing I didn't like is the confusing signage in the trails. It wasn't only us who got lost, we met several groups on the way asking for the right way. We had to turn back. It's beautiful though and has very cute little cafe and cute animals
